Evens Skin Tone – 10% Azelaic Acid is a form of dicarboxylic acid that works as an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and refine the skin’s surface. It lightens pigmentation by inhibiting tyrosinase (an enzyme that causes pigmentation) and reduces inflammatory hyperpigmentation to give an even skin tone. Azelaic Acid also encourages skin cell turnover, handles rosacea, and even fights acne.
